start with tae kwon do

All of them, Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Karate all of them, When you are taught martial arts you learn how to stretch, you learn how to move and in most of them you also lean how to defend your self.

But as you are 13 I would stay away from the more brutal Arts such as Muay Thai and Krav Maga until you are a bit older. Because the training involved in Muay Thai involves very straining methods used to toughen up your shins, hand and arms.

But that said all Martial Arts are suitable for a 13 year old girl.

I just finding a place that the Sensei is caring and makes it fun for the kids. It is not all about discipline. It has to be fun too. Just visit around to the different ones in the area and go when her class would be. Most offer up a Free day or even week to try it out. take notes and observe. Ask questions.

karate taekwondo are the main favourites for all ages. its mainly punching and kicking styles, semi contact so no one gets hurts.

Also judo, no punches and kicks but lots of throwing and grappling.

You tend to get a better workout at judo, since you have to really exert yourself rolling around with people.

Almost any of them. You are really more interested in the teacher than anything else. You want somebody that you like their style of teaching. Most martial arts places will let you watch or participate in a class. Check out several and determine where you are most comfortable.

Tae kwon Do

Liac City Martial Arts Academy because using academy in the schools name lets those interested in learning martial arts know that there are several styles taught there.It also lets them know that your school will not only develop brawn in them but spiritual and mental abilities to execute the fighting skills of your styles too.

From a marketing standpoint if Lilac city isn’t too big of a town with a ton of martial arts schools you have to compete with for students then United MA is fine. If your town is big and there are a lot of martial arts schools then you want something that will list you on the top of the yellow pages like something that starts with an A or B, you get the idea. People who are not decided on a martial arts school will go down the yellow pages call the school and ask questions. When they find one that sounds good they will go visit it and stick with it not necessarily giving anything else a try. If you have been in this section of YA for a while you will notice the many questions “which MA should I choose?” questions. People are lazy and do not like to spend a lot of time researching.

united martial arts, i think thats more of a easier name to remember than named after a city most have never even heard of… united means together, or strung together, sounds good to me for a united teaching of martial arts!
