Ask him which Karate style he does, there are several different styles of Karate. Ask him which one he does.

I’m not sure. But maybe if you go to theagentteam.webs.com it might help. Here is a summery of the website “if you want to become an agent, ninja, spy, or anything like that. You will get missions and learn lots of awesome tricks!” Maybe if you look on the site if might say.

Ask him how his style is different from other karate styles. Research one that you know he didn’t study, and see if he can tell you any right answers.

As previously mentioned, use your interest in joining a style to get introduced to his instructor, and ask for the differences.

You could also ask him the difference between a yin and yang response.

Forget about what he says about it. Why do you care if he says he is or not? Why do you want to call him out on this?
If you are interested in martial arts – go see what you can do for yourself. There is a lot lot lot to learn. No one black belt knows everything. There are so many schools.
The next time he says he is a black belt, just say, “That’s an accomplishment – congratulations. What can you teach me about it?”

Why should it matter to you one way or another? tell him wow thats great and let it go. If he is great but if he isn’t and keeps bragging about it then eventually someone will call him on it and he will get his b*** kicked.

While I agree with most that you shouldn’t care to much..but sometimes we need to push our friends to not lie…

If that is the case, the best one is to get him to take you to his karate class. There is no backing out of it. If he is a black belt, he must have pictures of him doing karate and he would definitely have one with his teacher and with his black belt..that is an accomplishment we are all proud of when we first get it.

Ask if he would be so kind to show you his latest Kata and give you the name of it. Look the name up the Kata up on the internet. I’m sure that you could actually see it, if its real on youtube.
